Alabama Barker, 19, Denies Sharing Pregnancy Loss for Attention

Alabama Barker pushed back against criticism after revealing a pregnancy loss, insisting her disclosure was personal and not a stunt for attention.

“The idea that I’d ever share something so personal for attention is insane,” the 19-year-old wrote in a since-deleted Instagram Story, according to The Shade Room. “Accident or not, I don’t need to prove myself by posting. My journey is my own, not performative and not because someone else shared theirs.”

The daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker sparked headlines after posting a TikTok—also deleted—in which she wrote, “Ever since I lost my baby, got cheated on, while also getting hated on, I’d get this feeling like … I’ll never be the same person again.” The video included clips of her cradling her stomach and crying.

Afterward, Barker told her 2.2 million Instagram followers she was deleting the app “for a little while.” The break was brief. By Saturday, she announced she’d be live-streaming on Twitch on September 27.

The young singer has faced waves of speculation about her personal life. Earlier this year, rapper Bhad Bhabie accused her of being pregnant with Tyga’s child and linked her to Soulja Boy. Barker dismissed both claims on TikTok: “I never in my life have remotely been near Tyga. I’ve also never been pregnant, nor do I know Soulja Boy. The end.”

Barker, who previously dated UCLA football player Scooter Jackson, accused him of cheating in March. Earlier this month, she hinted at a new romance on TikTok, sharing a birthday care package she put together for a rumored boyfriend.
