Ali Larter is 49, ripped, and apparently immune to time.
The Final Destination star dropped a mirror selfie on Instagram this week, posing in a red string bikini inside her trailer. It wasn’t thirst—it was declaration. The actress is currently filming Landman, the Texas oil drama from Paramount+, and says playing a character that owns her sexuality has made her do the same.
“I had to shoot a bikini scene for my show last week,” she wrote in the caption. “Playing a character that is so comfortable in her body drives me.” It shows.
In the shot, Larter keeps it simple: sun-kissed skin, blonde hair down, a crucifix around her neck. Classic and intentional. And while the image stole the spotlight, the caption revealed the engine behind the aesthetic.
Her routine? Precise. Bed by 11 p.m. Magnesium and GABA supplements. Up by 5:30 a.m. Celery juice, coffee, 30-minute interval run, 10 minutes of core work. Cold water face dunk. Oil to protect the spray tan. Out the door by 7. Then comes another coffee, lemon water, eggs, and turkey bacon.
“I put on Angela’s diamond cross,” she says of her character, Angela Norris. “It’s my suit of armor.” Then: breathwork. Ten minutes to kill the internal noise before heading on set.
The comment section lit up. Busy Philipps wrote, “ALI MY GOD YOU ONLY GET HOTTER.” Others just wanted the blueprint. “I’ll have what she’s having,” one fan said. Fair.
Larter first broke through with Varsity Blues in ’99 and kept her cool across cult hits like Legally Blonde and Heroes. Now, as a mother of two and nearly two decades into marriage with actor Hayes MacArthur, she’s leaning into roles that let her explore sex and power without apology.
“If there was something I was uncomfortable with, I wouldn’t do it,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “What’s more uncomfortable is that people are so uncomfortable by their sexuality.”
She doesn’t dodge the camera. She dares it.
“Objectify me,” she added. “I have two children. I’ve been married for 19 years. I love playing this character.”
In other words: she’s walking the walk. And we’re still watching.
