Alix Earle Joins Dancing with the Stars Season 34, Trading TikToks for Tango

Alix Earle is stepping off the timeline and onto the dance floor.

The 24-year-old social media powerhouse—known for her high-gloss “Get Ready With Me” TikToks and headline-making relationship with NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios—is the second confirmed name for Dancing with the Stars Season 34. She announced the move Thursday morning on Good Morning America, staking her claim for the Mirror Ball Trophy with the poise of someone used to bright lights and big crowds.

Earle’s entry into primetime television marks another notch in her fast-expanding public persona. What started as beauty tutorials has evolved into a full-spectrum media blitz. She was in the crowd last November when the long-running competition taped its 500th episode, and now she’ll be in the spotlight instead of the stands.

“I grew up dancing competitively until my junior year of high school,” Earle told fans in a video. The performance bug never left. “I love a good show,” she added, a sentiment echoed in a later Elle interview, where she described her TikTok algorithm as “full of Dancing with the Stars clips.”

This isn’t a total pivot—it’s more of a lateral move for someone who’s been performing for millions from a bedroom studio. Still, ballroom brings a different kind of pressure. It’s less likes and more footwork. Less edits, more execution.

Earle’s living situation remains in flux ahead of the fall premiere. She’s reportedly splitting time between Berrios’ place in Miami and her own apartment in Los Angeles—convenient proximity to both the NFL and Hollywood’s soundstages.

Her casting follows the earlier reveal of Australian zookeeper-turned-TV-host Robert Irwin, announced at Disney’s “Get Real” event in April. Earle joins a roster that will no doubt continue to blend legacy names and viral faces as the show adapts to a new media era.

Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars airs this fall. No premiere date yet, but the curtain’s already rising.
