Brooke Hogan Breaks Silence on WWE Tribute Snub: “I Wasn’t Invited”

The former reality TV star says her absence wasn’t a choice — it was policy

From the outside, it looked like Brooke Hogan had ghosted her father’s memorial. But from her side of the ring, she was never even tagged in.

Two days after WWE aired a tribute to Hulk Hogan on Monday Night Raw — complete with a ten-bell salute and emotional montage — fans were quick to notice his daughter’s absence. Brooke, 36, responded the only way she could: directly.

“@wwe did not extend an invite,” she posted on Instagram Stories, firing back at critics who accused her of skipping the moment. “So to everyone giving me crap — take it elsewhere.”

Her brother, Nick Hogan, was in attendance, dressed in black alongside his wife, adult actress Tana Lea. The pair were photographed looking emotional as the tribute played out live on air.

Hulk Hogan — born Terry Gene Bollea — died on July 24 at age 71 after suffering cardiac arrest. It was Nick who reportedly broke the news to Brooke.

Though estranged from their father in recent years, Brooke made it clear this wasn’t some cold, tabloid-style distance. In a statement Tuesday, she wrote: “Our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments. We had a connection deeper than words… When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us.”

The former Hogan Knows Best star reportedly removed herself from Hulk’s will in 2023, citing a desire to avoid the legal and financial chaos that often comes with posthumous estates. She’ll still receive funds from a life insurance trust — money she says is earmarked for her children’s college funds.

Brooke is now a mother of twins, Oliver and Molly, six months old, with husband Steven Olesky. She’s been mostly out of the spotlight in recent years — no longer a reality show fixture, no longer playing the fame game. But when it comes to her father’s legacy, it seems she still wants the record set straight.
