Dakota Johnson Goes Sheer Again at Zurich Film Festival, Accepts Golden Eye Award

Dakota Johnson turned heads at the Zurich Film Festival on Thursday night, stepping onto the red carpet in a sheer indigo lace gown that left little to the imagination. The 35-year-old Hollywood actress, best known for Fifty Shades of Grey and her recent role in Madame Web, paired the mock-turtleneck lace bodice with a voluminous tulle skirt and oversized statement rings.

Wearing her hair in soft waves and keeping her makeup neutral, Johnson carried the look with her signature ease. She later took the stage to accept the festival’s Golden Eye award for career achievement.

The appearance follows a string of sheer lace ensembles that have defined Johnson’s post-split style. Earlier this month, she attended the Kering Foundation dinner in New York in a completely sheer black Gucci gown, finished with lingerie by Fleur du Mal. The look highlighted her figure with a flash of red lipstick and manicure.

Back in June, weeks after ending her nearly eight-year relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Johnson was photographed in New York in a revealing Nensi Dojaka bodysuit with a tulle skirt—a statement-making rebound look that drew attention worldwide.

She has continued to embrace transparency on the red carpet, from her crystal-embellished Gucci at the Madame Web premiere in February to this week’s Zurich appearance. In a recent interview with Vogue, Johnson said her fashion choices come down to one rule: “I have to feel good in it.”

Judging from Zurich, she does.
