Katie Price’s short stay inside the Playboy Mansion is once again under the microscope—this time from someone who lived down the hall.
Stacy Burke, a former Playboy model and one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends at the time, says Price “took so many drugs she passed out” during her six-week residency in 2002. Burke made the allegations in a recent YouTube video, detailing an incident that she says ended with paramedics “struggling to revive” the then-24-year-old model, who had just welcomed her son Harvey months earlier.
“We were roommates,” Burke said. “She did so many drugs she passed out in the bathroom. Paramedics came. It took a long time to revive her. She was fine—but she must have taken too many drugs.”
Price had moved into the mansion shortly after landing her September Playboy cover, posing topless in a corset and leaning fully into her “Jordan” persona. She joined the Playmates just four months after giving birth to Harvey, who was born with multiple disabilities including partial blindness, ADHD, and Prader-Willi syndrome.
Burke’s claims add yet another story to the long-running mythology of Price’s time under Hefner’s roof—a stay Price herself has occasionally amplified. In 2017, she admitted she once urinated in the mansion’s famed grotto to “mark her territory,” a moment she framed less as scandal and more as youthful bravado. She also said she refused Hefner’s requirements for “girlfriend” status, insisting she wouldn’t “do the deed.”
Price even floated a return to her glamour-model roots that same year, saying she’d revive Jordan only if Playboy called her back. With the lads’ mags market wiped out—FHM, Loaded, Nuts, all gone—she said there was simply nowhere else for that alter ego to land.
But Price’s past is once again competing with her present. This week, she split from fiancé Carl Woods after he accused her of cheating. Woods later posted an audio clip—allegedly of Price—claiming she missed an event “because I was on coke.” In the clip, she appears to argue that her drug use, not Woods, was the reason for her absences, saying, “Carl’s helped me get off it.”
Price has spoken openly about cocaine use before. In 2021, she said her children threatened to cut ties with her if she didn’t stop, prompting her to commit to drug testing to stay clean.
Burke’s new account adds another chapter to the enduring, chaotic legend of Katie Price—a life lived loudly, publicly, and often on the edge, even behind the gates of the most controlled mansion in Hollywood.
