Iris Law Turns Heads at Valentino Afterparty in Rome, Wardrobe Mishap Included

Rome fashion week always produces a few moments people talk about the next morning. This time it belonged to Iris Law.

The 25-year-old model arrived at the Valentino afterparty on Thursday night in a barely-there pink slip dress that pushed the limits of physics — and nearly lost the battle. The braless look, cut low across the chest and trimmed with a subtle line of diamanté, flirted with a wardrobe malfunction as Law moved through the crowd.

The dress itself was classic late-night runway energy: thin spaghetti straps, a sleek silhouette and just enough risk to make photographers lean in a little closer. Law paired it with striped heels that added a few extra inches and carried a small white handbag, her signature blonde pixie cut keeping the overall look sharp and modern.

She wasn’t the only familiar face in the room. Lily Allen also attended the party, opting for a softer palette with a baby blue dress featuring a low neckline and bow detail across the front. The singer layered up for the Roman evening with a brown leather jacket lined with shearling and finished the look with red leather gloves and snakeskin boots, her dark hair worn loose over her shoulders.

Law’s presence at the Valentino party is just the latest stop in what’s been a steady climb through the fashion world. The model recently fronted Casablanca’s Resort 2026 campaign and made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut last year alongside Bella and Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and Lila Moss.

Behind the scenes, she’s known for keeping things simple. During that Victoria’s Secret appearance, insiders said Law’s post-show request sent assistants scrambling across the city in search of specific cookies from one bakery and smoothies from another — a small luxury after a long day on the runway.

In interviews, Law has been open about her approach to style and the pressures that come with the industry. Speaking with Vogue España, she said she prefers to dress by instinct rather than chasing trends.

“I don’t dress for anyone,” she explained. “I just try to feel good and be comfortable. I let myself be carried away by how I am in an intuitive way.”

She’s also spoken candidly about managing anxiety, crediting exercise — particularly weightlifting and running — with helping her maintain balance during a fast-moving career.

On Thursday night in Rome, though, the focus was less about philosophy and more about fashion — and for a moment, the dress that nearly stole the show.
