Kendall Jenner Addresses Lesbian Rumors: ‘As of Today, I Am Not’

Kendall Jenner is done letting the internet fill in the blanks.

Appearing on the In Your Dreams podcast, the 30-year-old model directly addressed a long-running online rumor that she is secretly a lesbian — a narrative she says has followed her for years with little regard for tone or truth.

“There’s this whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian,” Jenner said, noting that what bothers her most isn’t the speculation itself, but the way it’s framed. According to Jenner, the commentary is rarely supportive or open-minded. Instead, she described it as hostile, accusatory, and unnecessarily cruel.

Jenner made it clear she does not identify as gay, but pushed back against the idea that she is hiding something for the sake of her career. If she were, she said, she would be open about it.

She acknowledged that coming out is deeply personal and often difficult, but added that she knows herself well enough to say that secrecy wouldn’t align with how she lives her life now. Jenner rejected the notion she’s suppressing her identity because it might be “bad for business,” calling that assumption both offensive and illogical.

“There’s this whole narrative that I’m hiding this thing,” she said, pointing to some of the more extreme claims she’s seen online.

Jenner closed the conversation with a line designed to end the speculation without closing herself off entirely. As of now, she said, she isn’t gay. She doesn’t believe she will be — but she isn’t interested in declaring rigid boundaries on life experiences either.

It was a measured response to a loud rumor: calm, direct, and notably absent of theatrics.
