Kendra Wilkinson Shifts Focus to Work, Not Men, After Divorce

Kendra Wilkinson is no longer chasing love—or headlines. The former Playboy fixture, now 40, has made it clear: her focus is on real estate, not romance.

In a series of stripped-down black-and-white Instagram Stories posted Wednesday, Wilkinson kept it direct. “I don’t have interest in men at the moment. Just work,” she wrote, alongside a note asking fans to send real estate referrals her way.

The blunt statement comes six years after her divorce from former NFL player Hank Baskett, a breakup that played out under the full glare of reality TV. The couple, who share two children—Hank Jr., 15, and Alijah, 11—officially split in 2018 following widely reported allegations of infidelity on Baskett’s part. The divorce was finalized the next year.

Once a staple of Hugh Hefner’s inner circle, Wilkinson rose to fame in the mid-2000s on The Girls Next Door before landing her own spinoffs, Kendra and Kendra on Top. Her public image—part bombshell, part girl-next-door—was carefully manufactured for cable television. But when the lights dimmed, Wilkinson pivoted.

She earned her real estate license in 2020 and later fronted Kendra Sells Hollywood, a short-lived but sincere attempt to rebuild her identity outside the mansion walls. In an interview last year, she admitted the transition wasn’t seamless. “People assumed I passed my exam for the sake of TV,” she said. “It took a toll on my mental health.”

Despite the past, Wilkinson has consistently defended Baskett as a father. “I’ll always love him,” she’s said more than once. But love, at least for now, is off the table.

As for dating apps? Don’t hold your breath. Wilkinson revealed she’s been on the Raya waitlist for four years. “The universe is basically saying, ‘We’re not ready for you,’” she joked last November.

These days, Wilkinson isn’t selling a lifestyle. She’s selling houses. And if there’s anything left of the girl next door, she’s behind the wheel of an SUV, racing between open houses in the Valley, chasing something a little more tangible than fame.
