Kerry Katona has spoken out against former Emmerdale star Sammy Winward, following her ongoing feud with daughter Mia—who recently announced she’s pregnant.
The drama goes back two years, when Mia reportedly cut ties with her parents, Sammy and ex-footballer David Dunn, after signing up for OnlyFans. This week, Mia revealed she’s expecting, but told fans she hasn’t shared the news with her parents because of the lingering fallout.
Katona, mum of five and an OnlyFans creator herself, didn’t hold back. In her new! magazine column, she made it clear she’d never shut her children out over a decision she didn’t agree with. “Life is too short. Everyone is doing OnlyFans and she’s not breaking the law,” Katona wrote. “If one of my children were to do OnlyFans I’d be devastated, but I’d never not talk to them.”
She also pointed out the irony: many soap actresses—including Emmerdale, Coronation Street, and Hollyoaks stars—have posed for FHM. “There’s not much difference in that,” Katona said. Sammy herself appeared in FHM during her Emmerdale days and was ranked number 73 on the magazine’s Top 100 Sexiest Women in the World in 2006.
For Katona, the message is clear: family comes first—even if the career choices are unconventional.
