Kim Kardashian Claims ‘Someone Extremely Close’ Put a Hit Out on Her Life in Season 7 of The Kardashians

Kim Kardashian says her life was targeted by someone within her inner circle — a revelation made in the first trailer for Season 7 of The Kardashians.

“I got a call from investigators. Someone extremely close to me put a hit out on my life,” the 44-year-old reality star says in the Hulu preview released Wednesday.

The identity of the alleged instigator isn’t revealed. But the claim echoes a 2022 moment when Kanye West, Kardashian’s ex-husband, accused her of saying he had plotted to harm her. At the time, West denied the suggestion in an Instagram post, calling such accusations dangerous and life-altering.

In the trailer, Kardashian breaks down in tears while reviewing information on a laptop. Police cars arrive on-screen as she says, “I am terrified out of my mind.” Later, in a confessional, she adds, “I’m happy it’s over,” without clarifying what resolution was reached.

The new season is expected to shed more light on the threats, though it remains unclear if West or anyone else close to Kardashian was directly involved.

Kardashian has dealt with stalkers and security scares before. In 2024 she filed for a restraining order against a man who repeatedly tried to contact her at home. Her most infamous ordeal came in 2016, when she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris — a case that only reached sentencing earlier this year.

The trailer also captures the wider family reacting to the news. Kendall Jenner admits “everybody’s kind of on edge,” while Kylie Jenner recounts her own scare: hearing footsteps in her room. Kylie’s moment follows reports of a robbery suspect arrested outside her Los Angeles office earlier this year.

Despite the tension, Kardashian is shown later attending court in full diamonds, telling Kris Jenner: “I want to be who I want to be.”

Season 7 of The Kardashians premieres Oct. 23 on Hulu.
