Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Look Paid Tribute to Puerto Rico

When Lady Gaga joined Bad Bunny onstage during the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, it wasn’t just about music — it was a nod to his Puerto Rican roots. Gaga sang “Die With a Smile” in a powder-blue pleated dress by Brooklyn-based Dominican-American designer Raul López of Luar, her first public collaboration with the label.

Over her heart, she pinned a custom Piers Atkinson brooch featuring Puerto Rico’s Flor de Maga, signalling solidarity and respect. The rest of the look balanced drama and precision: ankle-strap heels in matching blue, glossy nails, a bold lip, platinum waves, and bleached brows framed the tribute without overwhelming it.

The halftime stage was packed with surprise appearances — Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Karol G, and Jessica Alba all made brief cameos — but Gaga’s outfit carried a clear cultural message. “For the culture and for all immigrants — this is how we come together,” López wrote on Instagram.

Gaga is no stranger to the Super Bowl spotlight; she headlined in 2017 in theatrical Atelier Versace ensembles, performing a medley from “Poker Face” to “Bad Romance.” This time, her look was quieter, intentional, and in perfect harmony with Bad Bunny’s celebration of Puerto Rico.
