Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old Barcelona forward, has publicly denied ever meeting former adult film actress turned influencer Claudia Bavel, pushing back against rumors of a supposed private encounter.
The denial came during a segment on TardeAR, where producers aired audio of an off-camera phone call with Yamal. In it, he addressed the speculation head-on:
“Ask her whatever you want—she’ll probably say ‘he’s a minor’—but we never met because I told her I wasn’t interested,” Yamal said plainly.
Accusations of a Staged Rendezvous
Álex Álvarez, a reporter for the show, added a twist: citing unnamed sources, he claimed Bavel once considered hiring a photographer to stage a meeting and sell the images. Yamal was quick to shut that down, saying such a plan would’ve been impossible. He lives with his mother, he said, and no unknown visitors are allowed in the house. There was no meeting, and there are no photos.
Bavel’s Side of the Story
Claudia Bavel, 29, told TardeAR a different version. According to her, she ended communication once she discovered Yamal’s age.
“We didn’t meet because I didn’t want to see a minor,” she said. Bavel claims she holds voice notes of Yamal giving her permission to meet—despite the age gap. She also says she broke off all contact “a long time ago,” but alleges that Yamal recently sent her a message threatening her if she spoke publicly.
Two Stories, One Denial
Both agree they never met face-to-face. But who backed out first—and why—remains in dispute. Yamal says he rejected the idea of a meeting from the start. Bavel says she walked away after learning his age.
As for the photo trap story, Yamal calls it fiction. He denies any compromising images exist and insists there never could’ve been a setup. Still, Bavel claims the fallout isn’t over, citing ongoing messages urging her to stay quiet.
No photos. No meeting. Just two versions of a story neither seems ready to let go.
