Maisie Williams spent the end of summer the old-fashioned way: off-grid, unclothed, and far from a press line.
The Game of Thrones actress shared a brief video on Instagram showing herself skinny dipping in the Mediterranean while on holiday in Italy. In the clip, Williams dives cleanly into the water, resurfaces smiling, and looks entirely unbothered by the absence of a swimsuit or spectacle.
The 28-year-old also posted a series of photos from the trip, including shots of herself and friends in the water, backs turned, mid-laugh. Other images show Williams cliff diving and taking in the Sardinian landscape, equal parts leisure and escape.
“summer is so over but life is still happening in a big way x,” she wrote in the caption, understated and to the point.
Williams and her group stayed at the Su Ferreri Retreat Guesthouse in Sardinia, a low-key destination focused on what it calls “slow living in nature,” offering hiking, yoga, and sauna sessions — the opposite of a celebrity resort.
The actress rarely posts on social media. Her last update came in April, when she shared a quiet photo dump that included a sheer evening gown, a walk through a flower field, and a game of Twister. “geo tag: all around the towns and everything x,” she captioned the set.
Williams has largely kept a low public profile in recent months, though she was spotted in September with Practical Magic 2 co-star Joey King. The pair drew attention after stepping out in colored wigs for a karaoke night in London.
No announcement, no statement, no brand tie-in. Just Italy, salt water, and a brief reminder that not every celebrity moment is engineered for impact.
