The actress’s new hot pink nails, posted to Instagram over the weekend, feature a double chrome stud on each nail. At first glance, it’s bold but on-brand. Look a little closer, and the design carries a not-so-hidden reference: the Prince Albert.
Fox’s nail artist, Brittney Boyce—founder of Lost Angels Beauty—confirmed the inspiration in an interview with Allure on Monday. “We switched her usual almond shape to a medium coffin just to change up the vibe a bit,” she said. “The two-tone pink aura keeps it soft, and the double chrome studs give it that Prince Albert edge.”
For the uninitiated, that’s a nod to the infamous male piercing—a move that fits squarely into Fox’s ongoing style of glam with a knowing wink toward shock value.
Boyce described the look as “cute and cool for summer.” Fans on Instagram didn’t hold back either, flooding the comments with praise for what many called one of Fox’s most daring nail sets yet.
Fox’s manicures have long been part of her persona, often matching nails with ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly during their high-profile relationship. This latest look may be solo—but it’s far from soft.
