Meghan Trainor Welcomes Baby Girl via Surrogate

Meghan Trainor’s family has grown again. The singer announced Tuesday that she and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed a baby girl via surrogate on January 18, 2026, marking their third child together.

Trainor, 33, shared the news on Instagram, introducing their daughter as Mikey Moon Trainor. In her post, she credited their surrogate and medical team, calling the process “the safest way” for them to continue expanding their family.

“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world,” Trainor wrote, adding that the couple is “forever grateful” to everyone involved in the journey.

The couple are already parents to two sons, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2. According to Trainor, both boys were closely involved in the process—so much so that they helped choose their sister’s middle name. “They’ve been so excited,” she wrote, adding that the family is now stepping back to enjoy time together.

Trainor has been open about her desire for a large family. Following the birth of her first son in 2021, she said she was “ready for three more kids,” a comment that now reads less like wishful thinking and more like long-term planning.

In a November 2025 interview with KIIS FM, Trainor revealed that both of her previous pregnancies ended in caesarean sections. She also spoke candidly about being diagnosed with gestational diabetes, a turning point that led her to take a more focused approach to her health and fitness.

The decision to pursue surrogacy, she explained, came after extensive conversations with her doctors. For Trainor and Sabara, it was about safety, sustainability, and continuing to build a family on their own terms.

For now, the headlines pause. The family is at home, adjusting to life with a newborn daughter—and, by Trainor’s own account, very much content to stay there.
