Megyn Kelly Slams Charlize Theron Over Sex Talk: “Have Some Class”

Megyn Kelly has taken aim at Charlize Theron, calling the actress “vulgar” and accusing her of trading in grace for shock value during a candid appearance on Call Her Daddy.

Theron, currently on the press circuit for Netflix’s The Old Guard 2, joined Alex Cooper’s sex-centric podcast this week and didn’t hold back. Asked for her best sex advice, Theron answered bluntly: “I did just recently fuck a 26-year-old, and it was really amazing… Women should be the ones that are like, ‘Fuck you, I’m going to have an orgasm.’”

That didn’t sit well with Kelly, who opened her own podcast the next day by questioning why Theron would choose Call Her Daddy as part of her media tour. “She sat down with the sex podcaster who interviewed Kamala Harris — all about how much they love abortions,” Kelly said, adding that Theron came off like she was trying too hard to be the “super cool girl.”

Kelly didn’t just object to the language — she took issue with the entire tone. “She’s 49 years old trying to sound 26. It feels weird. She’s one of our biggest stars — act like it,” she said. “Have some class.”

The irony wasn’t lost on Kelly, who played Theron’s character in Bombshell. And while she insisted her commentary was just opinion — “not defamatory” — her criticism was pointed and personal. “Maybe she’s just boring and stays home on Friday nights, but it seems like she’s compensating for something.”

Theron, for her part, had used the podcast to speak openly about aging, sex, and the independence she’s found as a single mother. She noted that societal judgment often lands hardest on older women without partners, and said raising her children solo brought a sense of freedom. But Kelly waved it off. “That’s just affectation,” she said. “She’s proud there’s no father in the picture — great. Good for you.”

She closed the segment with a swipe at Theron’s politics and public persona. “She’s on the opposite side of the political aisle from us, but you never see Julia Roberts do this kind of thing.”

The culture war, as always, rolls on — now featuring orgasms, Netflix sequels, and a former Fox News anchor who refuses to let it go.
