Pete Davidson is about to become a father.
Model and actress Elsie Hewitt confirmed the pregnancy Wednesday with a deadpan Instagram post showing off a sonogram and writing, “welp now everyone knows we had sex.” The caption did what it needed to. A rep for Davidson later confirmed the news. It’ll be the first child for both.
Davidson, 31, and Hewitt, 29, were first seen together in March, tangled up on a Florida beach in Palm Beach. Surf, PDA, and long-lens chaos. Before Hewitt, Davidson was briefly linked to Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline—another fast-burning stint that ended last summer.

Hewitt’s credits include appearances in Industry, Dave, and a Benny Blanco music video. She’s also been connected to names like Blanco and Jason Sudeikis. Davidson, meanwhile, has built a career that runs from Saturday Night Live to stand-up specials, all while maintaining a résumé of high-profile girlfriends that could rival a Vanity Fair Oscar party.
The Staten Island comic has spoken openly about wanting to be a dad, telling Kevin Hart in 2022 that he was “so excited for that chapter.” Davidson lost his own father in the 9/11 attacks and has carried that trauma in full view. Parenthood, it seems, is something he’s been steering toward for a while.
Now it’s official. A new chapter begins—no punchline necessary.
