Scheana Shay is opening up about infidelity in her marriage—revealing that her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter.
In her forthcoming memoir My Good Side, out July 22, the Vanderpump Rules star writes that Davies confessed to the affair in 2023, around the time speculation swirled about his relationship with her former castmate, Raquel Leviss. The revelation came unexpectedly, during what she describes as a quiet night at home watching The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“Brock said that with all of the fake news being published, he was afraid that something that actually was true might surface,” Shay writes. So he told her himself: two years earlier, while they were living in San Diego during the pandemic—and while she was pregnant—he had slept with another woman.
Shay, now 40, says Davies admitted he panicked about becoming a father again and “chose” to cope by having sex with someone else. “I use the word ‘chose’ because it was very much a conscious decision,” she writes. “No one twisted his arm or dragged him into bed.”
She recalls being physically ill and emotionally frozen. The woman Davies cheated with was someone from his past, whom he reconnected with. Shay later learned the two communicated through a second phone Davies used for his gym business—one she hadn’t known existed.
That same night, Davies handed over a letter he had written the year before, detailing how many times they had slept together and where. “Once I’d read it, that was more than enough,” Shay writes. “I told him to immediately toss it into the fire.”
She didn’t hold back her emotions. She admits to slapping Davies and hurling a Rubik’s cube at him—which he dodged.
The couple, who got engaged in 2021, quietly married the following year and held a formal ceremony in Mexico in 2023. Their daughter, Summer Moon, was born in April 2021. Shay had experienced a miscarriage the year prior.
