NFL star Stefon Diggs is in the middle of a courtroom drama just as his personal life heads in the opposite direction. The New England Patriots wide receiver—expecting his first child with Cardi B—has been accused of fathering a five-month-old baby with model Aileen Lopera, better known online as Lord Gisselle. Diggs has denied the claim.
Court documents obtained by People show Lopera first filed in December 2024, while still pregnant, seeking to establish paternity and requesting sole custody. Diggs, who already has an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, contested the filing and asked for genetic testing. If proven to be the father, he’s requested joint custody and a split on expenses related to the child and the case.

The baby, named Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, was born in April. Lopera’s attorney said her client “looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.” Diggs has not publicly commented.
The allegations arrive as Diggs stands in Cardi B’s corner. The rapper, pregnant with her fourth child and preparing to release her sophomore album Am I the Drama? alongside a nationwide tour, has leaned on his support. “Proud of you for staying focused,” Diggs wrote recently under one of her Instagram posts, calling himself “100 percent team boy.”
The paternity case is still unfolding. For Diggs, the stakes run beyond the gridiron: the outcome will define not just his family dynamic with Cardi, but potentially a second family tied up in the courts of Los Angeles.
