Stormy Daniels Takes Her Stories on the Road, Detroit Stop Set for April 1

Stormy Daniels is back on tour, and Detroit is on the schedule. The former adult film star, whose name has become unavoidable during the Trump years, will appear at Mic Drop Comedy Detroit on April 1 as part of her traveling stage show.

Yes, the date is April Fool’s Day, but the show itself is very real. Daniels will take the stage at Mic Drop Comedy, located inside Hockeytown Café at 2301 Woodward Avenue, where she’ll deliver a mix of stand-up and personal storytelling drawn from a life that’s been anything but ordinary.

Tickets are already on sale through the club’s website. General admission runs $37, while $59.50 VIP tickets include reserved seating. Fans who want the full experience can spring for the $165 meet-and-greet package, which includes a gift bag, a photo with Daniels, reserved seating and access to a pre-show session with the performer.

The Detroit stop is part of Daniels’ 18-date “Unicorns in the Kitchen” tour, which began March 1 in Winter Haven, Florida and wraps April 16 in Atlanta. According to the event listing, the performance will center on Daniels recounting stories from her life and career, followed by a live Q&A with the audience.

Daniels — born Stephanie Clifford in Baton Rouge, Louisiana — built her name in the adult film industry and was later inducted into the Adult Video News Hall of Fame. In 2023, she received a lifetime achievement award from Pornhub. Her 2018 memoir, Full Disclosure, offered a detailed look at her career and the controversy that put her squarely in the national spotlight.

That spotlight, of course, widened after Daniels alleged she had an affair with Donald Trump in 2006, a claim Trump has repeatedly denied. The story later became central to the hush-money case involving Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen and a $130,000 payment made during the 2016 presidential election cycle.

Politics aside, Daniels has leaned into the moment with a touring stage act that blends comedy, memoir and a little courtroom-era notoriety. Detroit gets its turn on April 1 — jokes included.
