WrestleMania has always been built on spectacle, but this year the biggest surprise didn’t involve a title change or a last-second heel turn. WWE superstar Bianca Belair returned to the spotlight at WrestleMania 42 to announce she’s expecting her first child.
Belair had been absent from WWE programming since July 2025, when she appeared as special guest referee at Evolution following a difficult stretch that included broken fingers suffered during her WrestleMania 41 match. Fans had been waiting for a comeback. What they got instead was something far more personal.

Moments after John Cena revealed the night’s attendance — more than 50,800 fans inside the stadium — Belair walked down the ramp to a thunderous reception. The EST of WWE looked every bit the returning star, but her appearance wasn’t about competition.
“It ain’t WrestleMania without a few surprises,” Belair told the crowd, pausing before revealing her baby bump and adding one more name to the attendance list. The announcement instantly shifted the atmosphere from wrestling spectacle to genuine celebration.

The pregnancy marks the first child for the three-time women’s champion and her husband, fellow WWE performer Montez Ford. Married since 2018, Belair is already a stepmother to Ford’s two children, making this a new chapter for one of WWE’s most recognizable power couples.
Later sharing the news with fans online, Belair wrote simply that the moment “means the world.” After years defined by championship runs, historic main events, and relentless athletic dominance, the EST delivered perhaps her most memorable WrestleMania moment yet — not as a competitor, but as a future mother stepping into a different kind of spotlight.
