When you’re a six-time Super Bowl champion and your girlfriend wasn’t even a thought when you started racking up rings, you’re bound to catch some heat. Enter: Snoop Dogg.
At the NFL Honors on Thursday night in New Orleans, the 53-year-old rap legend took a playful jab at Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson, 24, a former cheerleader-turned-coach’s arm candy. While reminiscing about the state of football back in the day—when the Cowboys were actually good and the Chiefs weren’t a dynasty—Snoop hit the crowd with a knockout punch:
“I remember… what was it? Oh yeah—Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.”
Cue the reaction shot. Hudson, decked out in a silver cutout dress that left little to the imagination, gasped like she’d just been hit with a blindside blitz. The audience at the Saenger Theater erupted—gasps, laughter, the whole spectacle. Belichick, ever the stoic tactician, cracked a measured chuckle.
But this wasn’t the first time the legendary coach has been roasted over his generational gap romance. Back at Netflix’s Roast of Tom Brady, former Patriots Rob Gronkowski and Brady himself had their fun at his expense.
“Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked,” Gronk said. “Now I know why—you were scouting your new girlfriend.”
Then came Brady, the Golden Boy with the golden burn:
“Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite. I used to say ‘the next one.’ But now? My favorite ring is the security cam footage of Coach sneaking out of that poor girl’s house a few months ago. Respect, baby.”
Brutal.
But say what you will—Belichick and Hudson aren’t sweating it. The couple has been going strong since early 2023, and they made sure all eyes were on them at the NFL Honors. Hudson shimmered in her ab-baring ensemble, while Belichick rolled in with a red blazer, his Super Bowl rings flashing like war medals. A reminder, perhaps, that he’s won in the league, and—if you’re measuring by a certain standard—he’s still winning off the field.
