Megan Fox is leaning back into the dark, seductive aesthetic that helped turn Jennifer’s Body into a cult classic, with a striking new lingerie shoot that has fans drawing comparisons to her iconic horror role.
The actress shared a series of images on Instagram wearing a sheer black mesh bandeau bra and matching lace thong, layered beneath a flowing black mesh shawl. Photographed by Amber Asaly, the editorial-style shoot was finished with a halo effect, adding a gothic edge to the monochrome look.

Alongside the images, Fox posted the caption: “Men would have them believe disobedience was Eve’s vice, when it was her greatest virtue,” continuing the cryptic, literary tone that has become a signature of her recent social media posts.
The latest upload follows a string of bold fashion moments since Fox returned to Instagram earlier this year after wiping her account in late 2024. Her comeback featured a series of lingerie-inspired looks, including a black corset top with a matching thong, thigh-high socks, platform heels and a spiked choker, accompanied by the caption: “Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed.”
She has continued the theme with several high-fashion ensembles, including a black latex bra paired with a coordinating skirt, thigh-high boots and oversized accessories. Another post carried the caption, “Love was the most savage monster of all,” prompting speculation that it referenced the end of her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, with whom she shares daughter Saga Blade.

Fox’s gothic fashion streak has also extended beyond social media. Earlier this year she turned heads at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Oscars afterparty, stepping out in a black silk Fleur du Mal slip dress layered over visible lace lingerie, sheer stockings and suspenders.
Whether she’s revisiting the haunting glamour that made Jennifer’s Body unforgettable or simply embracing her own evolving style, Fox continues to prove that few celebrities wear dark, cinematic fashion quite like she does.
