Shannon Elizabeth has revealed that her move to OnlyFans generated more than $1 million in just nine days, giving the American Pie star a lucrative second act outside Hollywood.
Elizabeth, 52, became one of the most recognisable faces of the late-1990s teen comedy boom after playing Nadia, the exchange student whose arrival in American Pie turned her into an instant sex symbol. Years later, she has stepped away from the traditional Hollywood machine and embraced a very different way of connecting with her audience.
Speaking to Variety, Elizabeth discussed her decision to launch an OnlyFans account and said she had been interested in the idea of controlling her own online presence long before subscription platforms became mainstream.

“I think I was one of the first actors to have one,” she said, referring to having her own website during the early days of the internet.
At the time, Elizabeth said, personal websites were largely associated with the adult entertainment industry.
“The only people who had websites at the time were porn stars. That was it,” she recalled.
Her OnlyFans account launched in April, giving fans access to a more personal and “sexy” side of the actress. The financial response was immediate.
“I crossed $1 million (£74k) in nine days,” Elizabeth told the publication.
The figure caught even Elizabeth off guard.

“It was really surprising, and I was honoured that my fans came out and supported me,” she said. “I had no idea what to expect.”
Rather than simply treating the platform as another revenue stream, Elizabeth said she has enjoyed the direct interaction with subscribers.
“I’m chatting with people all the time and it’s been a lot of fun,” she said.
Elizabeth also sees the growing number of actors joining OnlyFans as evidence that the platform is moving beyond its original reputation.
“There are a bunch of actors that have recently gotten on and we’re starting to pull it back to what it was meant to be,” she said.
For Elizabeth, that means the site does not necessarily have to be defined by adult entertainment.
“It doesn’t have to be only for adult entertainment. It can be whatever you want it to be.”
For an actress whose Hollywood career was built partly on her image as one of the era’s most famous sex symbols, Elizabeth’s OnlyFans success represents a striking change in how she earns money from that same audience — this time on her own terms.
