Brandi Glanville says she believes she contracted what she described as a “sexually transmitted ringworm” infection in her throat, following a relationship with a younger man in the adult film industry.
Speaking on a recent episode of her Unfiltered podcast with porn star Lisa Ann, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, recounted a series of health issues she says have affected her in recent years, including a breast implant rupture and a previously reported “parasite” she claimed had caused facial disfigurement.
In the conversation, Glanville said the man she had been dating only engaged in sexual activity that involved ejaculation in her mouth or on her face, explaining: “He didn’t want to get me pregnant. He didn’t know that ship had sailed,” she said, referring to her menopause.

She went on to suggest this may have been the point of exposure for what she believes was a fungal infection, referring to it as “sexually transmitted ringworm.” She also made claims about the condition’s severity, suggesting incorrectly that it could “burrow deep into your ears and all that” if located in the throat.
Medical ringworm, however, is a fungal infection and not a parasitic worm, and is typically treated with topical or oral antifungal medication. Glanville later said she had tested negative for the condition.
Lisa Ann responded during the episode, confirming that ringworm does appear in adult film production environments on occasion. She noted that performers are regularly screened and that new actors are thoroughly checked before filming. “It’s incredibly contagious,” she said, referring to the rash-like infection.
The exchange adds to a growing list of health-related claims Glanville has made publicly, many of which have circulated widely across social media and entertainment outlets.
