Alexa Demie Goes Topless in Angel Wings for i-D Magazine Shoot as ‘Euphoria’ Star Embraces High-Concept Fashion Image

Alexa Demie has appeared in a striking new i-D magazine shoot, posing topless with gold angel wings in a series of stylised images that continue her evolution from Euphoria breakout to fashion fixture.

The 35-year-old actress, best known for playing Maddy Perez in HBO’s Euphoria, features in a set of images that lean heavily into high-concept styling and stark visual contrast.

In one frame, Demie appears without a top or bra, covering her chest with her hand while wearing a long silver skirt and gold angel wings. Her look is completed with full makeup and loose dark hair, styled in soft waves.

Another image shows her reclining among white flowers, wearing a white lace bra and sheer fabric draped over her shoulders, with a bright overhead light casting a stark glow across the scene.

In a further shot, she is seen crawling across the floor in a loosely fitted white dress, looking directly at the camera, while additional images show her in a structured white corset and voluminous skirt, as well as a plunging black outfit posed against a web-like installation.

Demie rose to prominence through Euphoria, where she plays Maddy Perez, a character defined by a volatile friendship with Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie and a turbulent relationship with Jacob Elordi’s Nate. Across the series, the dynamic between the three characters has remained central to the show’s storyline.

While she initially gained attention playing a high school student, Demie is significantly older than her on-screen character. Born on 11 December 1990, she was in her late 20s when the series first premiered in 2019 and is now 35.

She is the oldest member of the show’s core teenage cast, which also includes Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi.

Despite the age gap, Demie’s portrayal of Maddy has remained one of the show’s most recognisable performances, helping define the aesthetic and tone of Euphoria since its debut.
