Britney Spears has revealed a new hair transformation, turning to celebrity stylist Chris Appleton for a straightened, sleek blond look following a recent run of legal and personal headlines.
The Grammy-winning singer, 43, appeared in a photo posted to Instagram by Appleton, who showed Spears with smooth, glossy blond hair — a shift from her typically more voluminous style. In the image, Spears is seen playfully posing with her tongue out while holding a set of hair irons.
“As a kid growing up in England, Britney Spears was the soundtrack to so many moments,” Appleton wrote. “Never in a million years did I think I’d one day be standing behind the chair (or in this case her standing behind mine, lol) styling her hair.”
He added: “Some moments really do come full circle. She is not only an icon, but one of the most genuinely kind and gentle souls I’ve ever met.”
Appleton, who is known for working with Kim Kardashian and for creating her platinum blond Marilyn Monroe-inspired Met Gala look in 2022, is reported to charge up to $200,000 for high-profile styling work. Kardashian responded to the post with heart emojis.
