Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip are calling time on their relationship after more than four years together, with the Selling Sunset star revealing the breakup in an emotional Instagram video.
The 45-year-old actor and reality television personality said the pair had agreed to handle their separation with love and respect, despite admitting she was still struggling to understand why the relationship had ended.
“I am in love with this person, and I don’t have all the information or the reasons,” Stause told followers, adding that she hoped time would help her heal and learn from the experience.
Stause explained that she wanted to address the split personally rather than issue a formal statement, thanking fans for their support throughout the relationship. Fighting back tears, she admitted she had been hard on herself and was trying to work through the disappointment.
“I’m a lover girl. I swing big,” she said, reflecting on their time together. Despite the unexpected ending, Stause described the relationship as an amazing four-plus years and said she would always love G Flip and wish them happiness.
G Flip, 33, also addressed the separation on Instagram, saying they would always share a special connection and that they cherished their memories together. They added that their head and heart felt heavy and asked fans to respect their privacy.
The pair first met at a Halloween party in 2021, when G Flip later recalled that Stause had been stood up before the two ended up kissing. Stause confirmed their relationship during the Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion in May 2022, introducing G Flip as a talented non-binary musician who uses they/them pronouns.
They married in a surprise ceremony in 2023, with Stause sharing footage of the wedding on social media. The couple went on to exchange vows at further ceremonies, including a medieval-themed celebration in Los Angeles in July 2025, which also marked their third wedding anniversary.
Stause was previously married to actor Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021. For now, she says the focus is on healing, as both she and G Flip begin the next chapter separately.
