Former WWE star Elayna Black has opened up about joining OnlyFans after being released from the wrestling giant, admitting her career plans were thrown into disarray when her lifelong dream was taken out of her hands.
The 25-year-old Chicago native, previously known to wrestling fans as Cora Jade, signed with WWE in 2021 and spent four years competing on its developmental brand NXT. Despite building a following during her time with the promotion, she never made the jump to the main roster and was released in 2025.

Black subsequently had a brief spell with TNA before stepping away and returning to the independent wrestling circuit. It was during that period that she turned to OnlyFans, recognising an opportunity to make money and build a business outside the ring. Her account remains active following her return to TNA in January, with the wrestler revealing that the move also opened doors she had never previously considered.
Speaking on TNA’s YouTube channel, Black was candid about the circumstances behind her decision.
“I didn’t grow up wanting to be an OnlyFans model. I grew up wanting to be a wrestler. And unfortunately for me, my dream was ripped out from under my feet with no control,” she explained.
She added that the financial opportunity was difficult to ignore, particularly at such an early stage in her adult life. Having been 24 when WWE let her go, she decided to make the most of the situation rather than wait for wrestling to provide another opportunity.

Black also admitted that joining the subscription platform introduced her to business prospects beyond anything she had imagined while concentrating solely on her wrestling career.
But the former NXT performer was equally keen to address the assumptions that come with having an OnlyFans account. She said one of the biggest frustrations was people believing that purchasing or viewing content gave them some kind of personal entitlement to her.
“The excuse is always, ‘Well, you have an OnlyFans. You’re asking for it,’” she said, describing the attitude as a justification for treating her differently or assuming they had access to her body.
Black made clear that sharing content online does not give anyone permission to cross personal boundaries. For the wrestler, the distinction between creating adult-oriented content and surrendering control over how people treat her remains an important one.
