Jax Taylor has accused his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, of trying to sabotage his career and interfere with his brand deals in a furious social media rant.
The Valley star took to Instagram Wednesday to share — before deleting — a screenshot of a message Cartwright allegedly sent to Divergent Lifestyle Co., a brand created to support fathers raising children with autism.
The dispute began after Taylor reposted a flyer promoting an upcoming event. According to the screenshot, Cartwright contacted the organisation asking whether it was sponsoring Taylor or whether he was officially involved.
“Hi, my ex-husband posted this event. I was wondering if you are sponsoring him or if he is officially involved in this event. If so, I’d like to share some information with you,” she allegedly wrote.
Cartwright, 37, also asked for a donation link, adding that she “would actually like to help”.
Taylor, 47, claimed the message was another example of Cartwright contacting companies and opportunities connected to him. He said he had simply reposted the event after connecting with another father of an autistic child and wanting to show his support.
“This is just another example of her contacting every company, brand or opportunity I get, trying to sabotage my ability to work and move forward with my life,” Taylor wrote.
The reality star, whose son Cruz was diagnosed with autism in 2025, claimed the situation had already cost him several jobs.
“This keeps happening over and over again and I’ve already lost several jobs because of it,” he wrote. “It honestly disgusts me that I feel like I have no other choice but to post this stuff publicly.”
Taylor said he had remained quiet for almost a year while attempting to deal with the situation privately. He also pointed to his sobriety, saying he is “637 days sober” and works every day to become a better father and person.
“I’m not asking her or anybody to forget the things I’ve done,” he wrote. “I’m just trying to work, support causes that mean a lot to me and just move forward with my life. I don’t understand why that can’t be allowed to happen.”
A representative for Cartwright did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The pair split in January 2024 after four years of marriage, with Cartwright filing to end the marriage in August that year. Taylor subsequently opened up about his struggles with substance addiction, including cocaine use, and entered rehab.
The former couple reached a custody agreement over their 5-year-old son in March. Under the arrangement, they are each responsible for Cruz’s care and expenses rather than paying child support. Taylor has custody on Wednesday nights and alternating weekends.
The agreement also states that neither parent can be under the influence of substances while caring for Cruz, while both agreed not to introduce new romantic partners until they have been dating for at least six months.
Taylor has since begun a relationship with longtime family publicist Lori Krebs. Cartwright was most recently linked to Brandon Hanson.
