Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein may have found a little romance beyond the cameras. The singer and the Ted Lasso star are reportedly dating, with a source telling Page Six that things between the pair are currently “casual”.
The two actors starred together in Netflix’s 2026 film Office Romance, and speculation about their relationship has been building for months. On October 16, they were reportedly spotted arriving at and leaving a Los Angeles party in the same car, although they entered the event separately.
According to the source, Lopez and Goldstein share a taste for parties and restaurants. The insider even took a swipe at Lopez’s former husband Ben Affleck, suggesting he was less enthusiastic about public outings during their marriage.
This isn’t the first time the pair have fuelled rumours. They were spotted attending Broadway’s Oh, Mary! together in March 2025, shortly before filming Office Romance began in April. Earlier this summer, reports suggested their chemistry on set had been difficult to miss.
Lopez has done little to dampen the interest. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in October, she called Goldstein the “best kisser” she had worked with on a film. Goldstein, meanwhile, has admired Lopez for years, praising her performance in Hustlers on his Films To Be Buried With podcast back in 2019.
There is, however, a catch. While promoting Office Romance on Today, both stars explicitly denied dating. When host Savannah Guthrie asked the question directly, Lopez answered “Not dating”, with Goldstein adding, “Correct”. Representatives for both actors have not responded to requests for comment.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024 after two years of marriage. Goldstein has kept his romantic life largely private, with his relationship with actress Beth Rylance in 2021 among his few publicly known romances.
For now, the reported relationship remains unconfirmed. But between the shared car, the public praise and Lopez’s enthusiastic review of Goldstein’s kissing skills, the rumours aren’t going away quietly.
