Jenny Mollen appears to be making the most of a fresh chapter. Just weeks after ending her 18-year marriage to American Pie actor Jason Biggs, the actress and author is spending the summer in the Hamptons with longtime friend and Alice + Olivia founder Stacey Bendet.
Mollen was among the guests at Bendet’s latest summer gathering at her Water Mill home, where she was spotted chatting with friends, posing for photos and looking relaxed throughout the afternoon. According to guests, the mood was light, with Mollen appearing happy as she settled into what Bendet jokingly described as a “fun girl summer.”
Bendet said she’s swapping a packed travel schedule for a season focused on good company, dinner parties and creative energy. With Mollen staying at the house, the designer said the plan is simple: spend the summer being social, hosting friends and bringing some life back to the Hamptons.
The launch of Alice + Olivia’s new Beach Shop collection helped provide the backdrop for the celebration, drawing a guest list that included Beth Stern, Ava Dash, Caleb Simpson and Sydney Sadick. Guests enjoyed poolside treatments, wellness experiences and an afternoon built around sunshine rather than schedules.
Mollen and Biggs announced their separation in May after nearly two decades together. Despite ending their marriage, the pair have made it clear they’re committed to co-parenting their two sons and remain on good terms.
For now, Mollen seems content trading headlines about heartbreak for afternoons by the pool. If there’s a theme to her summer, it’s less about looking back and more about surrounding herself with good friends, good weather and a clean slate.
