Katie Price has strongly denied claims that an explicit video involving her and husband Lee Andrews exists, saying she has been left feeling “upset”, “abused” and “humiliated” by the reports.
The former glamour model spoke out after claims emerged that Andrews had allegedly discussed selling a supposed sex tape for as much as £250,000. According to reports, a voice note allegedly sent by Andrews to a friend suggested that a “short video” featuring the couple could be worth “a pretty penny” if offered to a newspaper.
Price, however, insists there is no tape to sell.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the 48-year-old wrote: “This story is completely untrue. I have never made such a tape and any suggestion otherwise is false and deeply misleading.
“The claims appear to be based on a voicenote sent from Lee discussing a tape… a tape which does not exist and never will. This material has been passed to The Sun by a third party and does not reflect reality.”
She added: “I feel incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been shared publicly without any factual basis.”
A representative for Price also denied the existence of any explicit footage before the reality star addressed the reports herself.
The controversy comes during another turbulent period for Andrews, whom Price married in January just days after the pair met. He is currently being held in Dubai over alleged unpaid debts, although reports have suggested he could be released in the coming days.
According to reports, Andrews was transferred to Al-Awir prison after initially being held in isolation following his arrest. It has also been claimed that he was required to shave his head upon entering the prison, something he was reportedly unhappy about.
While the allegations surrounding the alleged tape have generated widespread attention online, Price maintains there is no truth to the claims, insisting the supposed video simply does not exist.
