Kim Kardashian has a new set of wheels for summer, swapping modern supercars for a meticulously restored 1973 Ford Bronco that’s every bit as stylish as the reality star herself.
The entrepreneur and media personality recently took delivery of a forest green Bronco rebuilt by specialist outfit Velocity, with the custom 4×4 carrying a reported price tag of around $285,000. While that’s a staggering sum for most buyers, it’s a relatively modest addition to Kardashian’s extensive collection of luxury vehicles.
The classic SUV blends vintage styling with modern upgrades, featuring a Ranger Brown interior, ProCar high-back seats, a traditional wood steering wheel and a stripped-back, carpet-free cabin. It also retains old-school charm with a period-inspired air-conditioning system, while its open rear section makes it an ideal cruiser for warm mountain days.
According to reports, Kardashian discovered Velocity through Travis Barker, who is also a customer of the company. She is said to have chosen the Bronco specifically for use at her mountain retreat, where the rugged, retro off-roader feels right at home.
Unlike most of Velocity’s bespoke builds, which typically require several months to complete, Kardashian’s Bronco was already finished and available for immediate delivery. After spending a few weeks in Los Angeles, it has now been transported to her summer property.
The purchase also comes as Kardashian continues to be linked with Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, whose passion for high-performance cars is well documented. Whether he had any input in choosing the Bronco remains unknown, but the timeless American classic is a very different statement from the hypercars usually associated with celebrity garages.
