OnlyFans creator CeCe Rose says online trolls can keep the insults coming because, from where she’s sitting, they’re only helping her business. The 26-year-old model has revealed she faces constant criticism over her appearance, but insists every hateful comment simply boosts her profile while she focuses on building long-term wealth.
Rose, who has amassed more than two million Instagram followers, says she has learned to treat online abuse as background noise. While critics pick apart her looks, she says she’s booking luxury holidays, travelling the world and investing the money she’s earned through content creation into real estate.
“I don’t let the comments about my appearance affect me since all they do is boost my engagement,” she explained. “If you’re going to hate, at least you’re supporting me on the back end as well.” She added that receiving criticism is almost a badge of success, arguing that anyone operating at the top of their industry attracts detractors.
The Toronto creator recalled reading negative comments while flying by private jet to Coachella on a brand-funded trip and organising a European holiday. Rather than dwelling on the criticism, she says she’s more interested in the life she’s built. “If someone wants to sit here and hate on me while I’m living my best life, let them,” she said, adding, “Sorry I didn’t fall for the Ozempic Olympics.”
Rose also believes OnlyFans creators face harsher judgement than women in other high-profile industries. She argues that people are quick to make assumptions about adult content creators, despite knowing little about their personal lives. According to Rose, she’s been celibate for years and says many of the stereotypes attached to the platform simply don’t reflect reality.
Financially, she says OnlyFans transformed her future almost overnight. Rose revealed she earned more in her first week on the platform than she had previously made in an entire year working in the food service industry. Since then, she’s invested heavily in property, purchased multiple homes and says her goal is to build generational wealth while supporting her family. For CeCe Rose, the trolls may dominate the comments section, but she believes the numbers tell a very different story.
