Reality TV fame rarely ends when the cameras switch off. For Love Island alum Katie Salmon, the post-villa years have unfolded less like influencer success and more like a tabloid crime file — financial control, alleged coercion, and a death overseas that closed the story in tragedy.
Salmon, who finished fourth on Season 3 of the ITV dating phenomenon, has spoken publicly about her former fiancé, a man she knew as Harry. According to her account, the relationship was marked by financial manipulation that ultimately pushed her toward launching an OnlyFans career she says she never truly chose for herself.

Allegations of Financial Abuse
In an interview with The Sun, Salmon claimed her ex exercised control over her finances while contributing little income of his own. She later discovered his real identity was Anthony Gerard Kelly.
Salmon alleges Kelly encouraged — and eventually pressured — her into producing increasingly explicit content on OnlyFans. The platform proved financially lucrative; she says earnings reached as high as £45,000 per week at their peak.
The money came fast, but the cost, she suggests, was personal. Since leaving the relationship, Salmon has publicly embraced Christianity and stepped away from that chapter of her career, framing the shift as a deliberate attempt to rebuild her life.

A Life That Drifted Into Crime
After their separation, Kelly relocated to Thailand. What followed reads less like celebrity fallout and more like an international police report.
Thai sources cited by British tabloids allege Kelly became entangled in criminal activity, including accusations linked to a shooting at a cannabis shop and outstanding warrants related to theft and attempted murder. Facing mounting legal pressure, he reportedly sought legal assistance costing roughly 400,000 baht — money that was allegedly taken in a scam.
According to his Thai wife, Sawat Boonsa-ard, the stress surrounding these legal troubles became overwhelming.
In 2024, Kelly was found dead in Thailand in what authorities ruled a suicide.
Salmon later described him as someone drawn deeper into what she called a “gangster lifestyle,” while she herself was trying to move in the opposite direction.
“He did a lot of dark stuff,” she said, explaining that their paths ultimately diverged — one chasing danger, the other attempting reinvention.

A Complicated Aftermath
The story did not end cleanly. Salmon shares a daughter, Thiaga, with Kelly but was unable to travel to Thailand following his death due to strict bail conditions connected to a 2025 assault arrest in the UK.
It leaves a stark contrast familiar to reality-TV watchers: a contestant once known for sunlit villas and televised romance now navigating grief, legal trouble, and public scrutiny in equal measure.
The villa promised escapism. Real life, as Salmon’s story shows, rarely does.
