Sydney Sweeney may not be heading to the beach for the next Baywatch, but her latest vacation photos certainly have fans thinking about the franchise.
The 29-year-old actress shared a series of photos from a trip to Lake Powell, Utah, where she was joined by boyfriend Scooter Braun and a group of friends. The getaway involved plenty of sun, boats and outdoor adventure, but one particular look quickly became the talking point.
Sweeney posed on a boat in a red scoop-neck one-piece swimsuit, complete with high-cut hips and a plunging neckline. The look immediately drew comparisons to the iconic red swimsuits associated with Baywatch and Pamela Anderson’s time as lifeguard C.J. Parker.
The backdrop, however, was very different. Rather than California beaches, Sweeney was surrounded by the red rock landscape of Glen Canyon. She captioned the Instagram post: “when your man takes you to the moon 🌒.”
The trip was less about lounging around and more about keeping busy. Sweeney, Braun and their friends spent time boating and hiking, with wakeboarding and waterskiing also on the itinerary.
The couple have already developed a reputation for keeping their holidays active. Earlier this year, they were photographed jet skiing in the Mediterranean, while they also went bungee jumping together during a trip to New Zealand.
Sweeney has made her feelings for Braun fairly clear away from the cameras, too. She has been spotted wearing a necklace featuring his initials, “SB,” on multiple occasions.
For now, there is no Baywatch role on the horizon. But judging by these latest vacation photos, Sweeney appears to have the red swimsuit part of the job description covered.
