Amanda Batula is back on Instagram, and naturally, the Summer House crowd had plenty to say about it.
The reality star returned to the platform on August 24 with a series of photos featuring her boyfriend, West Wilson. The post showed the pair spending time together away from filming, including a boat trip, drinks and matching “Newport” sweatshirts.
Batula kept the caption simple: “Weenies and martinis.”
The photos quickly drew attention from fans who thought Batula looked happier than they had seen her in years. “I have to say in all the years I’ve watched I’ve never seen you this happy,” one follower wrote. Another agreed: “NGL…Never seen her so happy.”
Then came the accusation.

One commenter questioned whether Batula was paying for the supportive reactions, writing: “I wanna know how much it costs for all the bots to comment how happy you are?”
Batula didn’t get defensive. Instead, she delivered a suitably dry response: “3 day free trial.”
The exchange was just one part of a divided reaction to the post. Some followers criticised Batula’s choices and the relationship, while others argued that she should be allowed to move forward with her life without being subjected to endless scrutiny.
“People are allowed to move on with their lives,” one supporter wrote. “Anyone who has never had a messy breakup, put your hand up…….yeah, I didn’t think so. Let her be happy with her one precious life.”
Another commenter took a similarly forgiving view, writing: “Glad you posted. I don’t have to agree with your choices to show compassion. The amount of hate you received was wild.”

Others encouraged Batula and Wilson to keep their distance from reality television and enjoy their relationship away from the cameras.
Of course, not everyone was interested in letting the drama go. Comments included “Girl read the room”, “This is giving your first season of you on Summer House vibes” and “Definition of pick me girl.”
Batula’s relationship with Wilson has already attracted attention because of its connections to the wider Summer House cast, including her estranged husband Kyle Cooke and Wilson’s former flame Ciara Miller.
For now, though, Batula seems content to post the pictures, take the hits and throw a joke back when the internet gets too serious. The bot accusation may have been intended as a dig. Her three-day free trial response was probably the most entertaining thing in the comments.
