Kylie Jenner has found a way to make a bikini look expensive without relying entirely on the diamonds.
The beauty mogul shared a series of poolside photos on Instagram over the weekend wearing a black metallic Frankies Bikinis x Khy bikini, accessorised with more than $100,000 worth of fine jewellery and one decidedly less valuable addition: a $3 children’s tiara from Michaels.
The jewellery alone was doing serious financial damage. Jenner wore three diamond rings, including a Sixteen Stone band by Tiffany & Co. priced at $18,200, a Tiffany HardWear link ring worth $16,800 and a Panthère de Cartier ring valued at around $66,000.
Then came the tiara. Covered in plastic gems and finished with a large heart at the centre, the children’s dress-up crown cost a grand total of $3. It was the sort of high-low styling that makes sense when your jewellery collection is worth more than most people’s houses.
Jenner also showed off a bejewelled phone and silver Khy x Gia Borghini wedge heels, completing a look that managed to combine poolside minimalism with enough sparkle to attract its own weather system.
The Cartier Panthère collection has become a recurring fixture in Jenner’s wardrobe. Her connection to the house may be partly explained by boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, who is a Cartier ambassador.
The pair wore matching smaller Panthère rings at the 2025 BAFTAs, while Jenner has also been seen wearing a Panthère pendant necklace and matching earrings.
Her Cartier collection does not stop there. Jenner owns multiple Cartier Love bracelets as well as a diamond-encrusted Panthère de Cartier watch, which she wore courtside alongside Chalamet during last year’s NBA playoffs.
Still, the most memorable piece in this particular outfit may have been the cheapest one. In a world where a single ring can cost $66,000, sometimes a $3 plastic crown is the better flex.
