Reality TV has always thrived on conflict. Resolution, however, is rarer — especially when lawyers get involved.
NeNe Leakes appears ready to turn the page.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed she is open to moving forward with Andy Cohen years after dropping her lawsuit against Bravo, suggesting that time — not victory — has softened the standoff.

Speaking in a recent interview with Vulture, Leakes confirmed the two have exchanged text messages since the legal dispute ended, though they have yet to reconnect face-to-face. Whether that happens, she said, ultimately rests with Cohen.
Leakes’ tone was notably measured. No grand reconciliation, no reality-TV theatrics — just a pragmatic acknowledgment that grudges age poorly.
“I move forward,” she explained, adding that she has little interest in holding onto negative energy.
The lawsuit, filed in 2022, marked one of the most serious public breaks between a Housewives star and the network that helped define modern reality television. Leakes alleged Bravo fostered a hostile and racially insensitive work environment, claiming executives ignored complaints regarding comments made by former co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

The case named Cohen directly, an extraordinary move considering his long-standing role as both executive producer and public face of the Housewives empire.
Four months later, Leakes dismissed the lawsuit, leaving speculation about future cooperation hanging in the air.
Cohen has since framed the dispute as history. Speaking publicly earlier this year, he declined to revisit the details, describing the situation simply as being “in the past.” His comments coincided with confirmation that Leakes would appear in the upcoming anniversary installment of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th — a symbolic return for one of the franchise’s most influential figures.
For Bravo, the decision feels less like nostalgia and more like inevitability. Any celebration of two decades of Housewives television would be incomplete without Leakes, whose run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta helped transform the franchise into a cultural force between 2008 and 2020.
Leakes herself described the comeback as emotional, calling the journey back to the network unexpectedly long. She publicly thanked Cohen and Bravo executives for continuing to consider her involvement despite the fallout.
The upcoming special gathers a cross-franchise lineup including Vicki Gunvalson, Luann de Lesseps, Porsha Williams, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow — a reunion built as much on legacy as spectacle.
In the end, reality television mirrors real life more than it admits. Alliances fracture, lawsuits happen, and eventually everyone circles back to the same stage.
For Leakes and Bravo, the drama may not be forgotten — but it appears, at least publicly, to be settled.
