Rihanna is getting into the Christmas spirit, although Santa might have a few questions about what’s on the naughty list this year. The 38-year-old superstar has unveiled a festive new campaign for Savage X Fenty, posing in a revealing red floral lace bodysuit, sheer panels and thigh-high stockings while making a rather confident declaration: “when being naughty makes you the gift!”
The singer and businesswoman left little to the imagination in the series of photographs, showing off the lingerie against a lavish Christmas backdrop filled with trees decorated in pink, red and striped bows. Silver-wrapped presents were scattered around the set, but Rihanna was clearly the main attraction.
One particularly cheeky photograph caught the mother of three turning her back to the camera and adjusting her stockings, offering a view of the skimpy thong-style design. In another, she stretched out across the floor in black stockings and towering heels, with an oversized pink and burgundy striped bow draped across her legs.
The Diamonds hitmaker also posed beneath the enormous bow, sitting directly on the floor and fixing the camera with a knowing stare. The plunging floral lace neckline did much of the talking, while other images showcased the sheer red and black lingerie from different angles. Dark waves, smoky eye makeup, glossy lips and a selection of visible tattoos completed the look.
Savage X Fenty was quick to join the festive banter in the comments section, writing: “Being on the nice list is overrated.” Fans were equally enthusiastic, with one suggesting Santa would have a difficult time competing with Rihanna’s gift, while another simply declared: “Naughty NEVER nice.” The photographs quickly attracted more than a million likes.
Launched in 2018, Savage X Fenty has grown into a major player in the lingerie business, with Rihanna placing inclusivity, body confidence and provocative marketing at the centre of the brand. The Christmas campaign continues that formula, swapping traditional festive sweetness for red lace, thigh-highs and a healthy disregard for the nice list.
