Blac Chyna is facing a six-figure tax bill, with California authorities filing a $116,732.37 tax lien against the reality star for the 2024 tax year. The financial headache comes several years after her former partner Rob Kardashian ended his $20,000 monthly child support payments for their daughter, Dream.
Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, 38, shares the nine-year-old with Kardashian, 39. The former couple initially agreed to a $20,000 monthly child support arrangement following their custody settlement in 2017. That deal didn’t last. In November 2018, Kardashian asked the court to reduce the payments, arguing that he could no longer afford the amount and that the fallout from their breakup had damaged his earning potential.
By March 2019, the pair had reached a new agreement that scrapped child support altogether. Instead, each parent would cover Dream’s expenses while she was in their care, with certain costs, including medical bills and schooling, shared between them.

Chyna appeared to embrace the arrangement during a 2020 interview with SiriusXM’s Hip Hop Nation, describing raising her children without financial support as her “biggest flex”. But the message was different two years later. In March 2022, she claimed she had been forced to surrender three cars because she was a single mother receiving no support.
Both Kardashian and rapper Tyga, the father of Chyna’s son King Cairo, pushed back. Kardashian said he spent $37,000 annually on Dream’s schooling, alongside medical bills and extracurricular activities, while also having her from Tuesday through Saturday. Tyga, meanwhile, said he paid $40,000 a year towards King’s education and that their son lived with him Monday through Saturday.
Tyga and Chyna subsequently formalised their own custody arrangement in 2023, agreeing to joint legal and physical custody. Chyna would have King from Friday to Monday, with Tyga taking the remainder of the week. No child support payments were required.
Away from the financial disputes, Chyna and Kardashian briefly fuelled speculation about a romantic reconciliation in October 2025. Chyna posted photographs in an all-white outfit, tagged her former partner and declared, “This love is forever.” Kardashian liked the post, adding to the speculation. Days later, Chyna described the pair as healing and communicating during an appearance at the Los Angeles Women’s Expo, calling him “my person”.
The reunion rumours didn’t last long. By Christmas Eve, Chyna had declared herself single, putting an end to speculation about a rekindled relationship. Now, with a $116,732 tax lien hanging over her, the reality star faces a very different kind of headline. Her representative had not immediately responded to requests for comment.
