Jesy Nelson Goes Instagram Official With New Boyfriend Ben Davies

Jesy Nelson has finally put a face to the man she’s been quietly dating, going Instagram official with her new boyfriend Ben Davies ahead of the National Television Awards.

The former Little Mix star, 35, shared the first photo of the couple together on Tuesday, posing with the landscape gardener in their hotel room before heading to the NTAs. Nelson looked striking in a plunging black gown as Davies stood beside her, with the singer captioning the post: “Forgot to mention…”

Her friends and followers immediately welcomed the reveal, with messages congratulating the couple and wishing Nelson happiness. The post comes after weeks of speculation surrounding the new relationship, with Nelson and Davies reportedly spotted holding hands through London’s West End in August.

Nelson had already dropped another clue over the weekend when she posted a photo from a rooftop dinner date. A tattooed male arm could be seen in the shot, giving followers their first glimpse of the mystery man before she eventually decided to make things official.

The new relationship comes after a difficult period for Nelson, who recently opened up about the end of her four-year relationship with Zion Foster. The former couple are parents to twins Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, who were diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, a rare genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness and can be life-threatening.

Speaking about the split on her Prime series Jesy Nelson: Life Changing, Nelson said the situation had placed enormous pressure on their relationship. “It’s a very traumatic thing that we’ve both been through,” she said, explaining that they had dealt with the diagnosis in very different ways. “You’ll either be a team or it’ll tear you apart and unfortunately I feel that’s what it’s done to me and Zion.”

Nelson said there was no bad feeling between them and that her children remained her priority. “I just want to be the best mum with the best energy and positivity possible,” she said. She also acknowledged that living together while handling the situation had led to clashes and ultimately convinced her they would be better apart. Now, with Ben Davies by her side and a new chapter underway, Nelson appears ready to let the past stay where it belongs.
