Larsa Pippen has found herself at the centre of another social media debate after followers accused the Real Housewives of Miami star of editing her latest Instagram photo beyond recognition.
The 52-year-old reality star shared a glamorous snap of herself wearing a figure-hugging mini dress and black stilettos, posing against a backdrop of ocean views and a glowing sunset. With her long blonde hair styled in loose waves, Pippen kept the caption simple, posting only a blue heart emoji.
It didn’t take long for the comments section to fill with jokes about her appearance, with many fans claiming the image looked nothing like the version of Pippen they see on television.
“Has anyone seen Larsa? Who is this?” one comment, which attracted more than 1,000 likes, read.
Another follower coined the nickname “LarsAI Pippen,” while others piled on with remarks including, “Joined the Witness Protection Program I see,” and, “Girl which face are we on now?”
One user summed up the mood by asking: “Why does she look so good here but nothing like this on the show?”
Despite the criticism, Pippen appears unbothered. Over the weekend she continued posting to Instagram, sharing clips of herself in a leopard-print bikini before uploading videos from the gym wearing a baby blue workout set.
Earlier in the week, she also gave followers a glimpse of a luxury getaway in St Tropez, posting a series of yacht photos that showcased her summer holiday on the French Riviera.
It’s far from the first time Pippen’s appearance has sparked conversation online. Last August, she addressed speculation after photos circulated showing her face looking noticeably fuller, prompting accusations that she’d overdone cosmetic treatments.
The reality star insisted there was a medical explanation.
“I just shot my RHOM reunion a couple of days ago, so you’ll see what I look like at my reunion,” she told followers on Instagram Stories. “I did have PRP.”
Pippen explained that she’d suffered an unexpected allergic reaction following the platelet-rich plasma treatment, leaving her face temporarily swollen.
“I did have an allergic reaction to the PRP, which I didn’t even know you can have, so my face is a bit swollen, but it doesn’t look like that, so keep on hating guys,” she added.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses a patient’s own blood platelets to encourage healing and tissue repair, and is commonly used in both cosmetic and sports medicine procedures. While reactions are considered uncommon, Pippen maintained that the treatment—not cosmetic fillers—was responsible for her altered appearance at the time.
For now, though, it’s the filters rather than the treatments that have social media talking.
