Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have expanded their family again, welcoming their second child through adoption.
The Stranger Things actress, 22, and Bongiovi, 24, have kept their family life largely private, but a source has confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple have welcomed another baby. Representatives for Brown and Bongiovi did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The couple appeared to offer a glimpse of their growing family earlier this month. On September 7, Brown shared a video from a trip to Italy showing her carrying their daughter while Bongiovi walked beside her with a baby carrier strapped to his chest. The new baby’s face and identity were kept out of view as the family spent time with alpacas in the Dolomites.
The arrival comes roughly a year after Brown and Bongiovi announced the adoption of their first daughter. In August 2025, Brown revealed the news on Instagram, saying they had welcomed their baby girl “through adoption” and wanted to begin their new chapter of parenthood “in both peace and privacy.”
Brown has been open about her interest in adoption since childhood. During a June appearance on Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, she explained that adoption had always been part of her plans, recalling that her childhood dolls were all adopted.
“It was always part of my childhood dreams,” Brown said. She also made clear that adoption does not mean she has ruled out having biological children in the future. “Hopefully one day that’s in my future,” she said.
Brown and Bongiovi married in 2024 after beginning their relationship in 2021. Since then, the couple have largely avoided turning their marriage and family life into a public spectacle, making their latest family announcement another relatively private milestone for the pair.
For Brown, who became internationally famous as Eleven in Stranger Things, motherhood now represents a major new chapter away from the screen. Her comments about adoption have made one thing clear: building a family was something she had been thinking about long before Hollywood came calling.
