Emmerdale star Rebecca Sarker has swapped the Yorkshire Dales for the seaside, showing off her figure in a black bikini in a series of striking holiday snaps.
The actress, 51, who plays Dr Manpreet Sharma on the ITV soap, shared photographs of herself posing by the sea at sunset and dawn. Wearing a black bikini with oversized sunglasses and sliders, Sarker looked a long way from her usual screen surroundings.
She captioned the post “From dusk till dawn”, prompting a stream of compliments from fans, with one calling her “absolutely stunning” and another declaring her “hotter than the sun”.
Sarker has never been shy about sharing a more glamorous side of herself away from Emmerdale. She has previously posed in bikinis while showing off her defined abs, as well as sharing photographs in lingerie and sportswear.
Her on-screen character has even been involved in the world of subscription content, but Sarker has previously made clear that she has no intention of following Manpreet down that particular road herself.
In an interview last year, the actress said she still enjoyed playing the character she first joined Emmerdale as in 2018, despite having spent years in the role.
“I still love playing Manpreet just as much as I did when I joined,” she said.
Sarker’s latest photographs offer a reminder that her television persona is only one part of her public image. Away from the soap, her social media feed regularly gives followers a glimpse of her life outside the village, with the latest bikini shoot proving particularly popular.
For an actress who has spent years playing one of Emmerdale’s familiar faces, there is clearly still plenty of interest in seeing Rebecca Sarker in a rather different setting.
