Kristin Cavallari has traded Nashville for the Mediterranean, spending her summer surrounded by turquoise water, rocky coastlines and enough bikini photos to keep Instagram busy.
The 39-year-old Laguna Beach alum shared a series of holiday snaps from her European getaway with longtime friend and celebrity hairstylist Justin Anderson, showing off a collection of swimwear and summer outfits while enjoying the coastline.
Cavallari opened the carousel aboard a boat, wearing a black triangle bikini as Anderson leaned in beside her. Behind them, the Mediterranean stretched towards a dramatic backdrop of cliffs and clear blue water.
Another photograph showed the former reality star barefoot on a dock, wearing a blue floral bikini top with a white crochet mini skirt and navy baseball cap. Anderson stood behind her in a white shirt and matching blue cap as the pair posed beside a ladder leading into the sea.
The bikini was only part of the wardrobe.
Cavallari later slipped into a white floral maxi dress while walking through manicured gardens surrounded by mountains, accessorising with white sandals and a pale handbag.
An evening stroll brought another change of clothes, with Cavallari wearing a sheer white crochet cover-up over a white swimsuit. Layered necklaces, bracelets and a woven handbag completed the look as she posed beside an old stone canal in a historic village.
The holiday also included some familiar faces.
One photograph showed Cavallari alongside Anderson, Austin Rhodes and Southern Charm star Austen Kroll. That was enough to get Instagram detectives working, with some followers immediately wondering whether the reality star had found herself a new man.
“Okay spill the tea – are you dating @krollthewarriorking & how does @caconover feel about this?!” one commenter asked, referencing Kroll and his former Southern Charm co-star Craig Conover.
The speculation didn’t last long.
Other followers pointed out that Cavallari had already addressed the subject on her Instagram Stories, making it clear that she and Kroll are simply friends.
The timing is interesting, however, because Cavallari recently opened up about deliberately stepping away from dating.
During an episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, the reality star explained that people regularly ask why she’s still single.
“I have not been going on dates,” she said, adding that the few recent romantic possibilities she’d entertained had been “disasters”.
One man even flew to Nashville for dinner before Cavallari decided there wasn’t enough chemistry to pursue anything further.
“I honestly don’t care if I never see this man ever again,” she said.
Another potential romance ended after Cavallari discovered that a man had sent her an old photograph while making it appear as though it had been taken recently.
“Now you’re a liar,” she recalled.
For Cavallari, the problem isn’t a shortage of attention. It’s finding someone worth rearranging her life for.
With three children and a business to run, she’s not interested in forcing a relationship simply to avoid being single.
“I have to be all in,” she said. “I have to be all in to make you a priority.”
For now, the Mediterranean appears to be providing considerably better company than the dating apps.
