Porn star Angela White turned up at the Etihad for Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Coventry City and promptly discovered that VIP privileges apparently have their limits.
The Australian adult star, 41, was watching from the Tunnel Club as Erling Haaland scored the only goal of the game on Saturday. When the Norwegian striker headed towards the pitch, White tried to get his attention through the stadium’s glass tunnel.
Haaland, 26, appeared completely unaware of the attempted greeting, continuing his conversation with England defender Marc Guehi as White reached towards him from the other side of the glass.
White later shared footage of the encounter with her 10 million Instagram followers, captioning it: “Omg Bellingham’s boyfriend.”
The joke referred to Haaland’s close friendship with Jude Bellingham, who played alongside him at Borussia Dortmund. Her followers quickly picked up on the moment, with one calling it “brilliant” while another joked that the players might not have recognised her.
There was another detail from White’s Etihad visit that raised a few eyebrows. She was wearing a Manchester City shirt inside the Tunnel Club, despite football shirts being prohibited in the Tunnel Club Premier and Ground sections, where shorts and caps are also listed among the banned items.
White acknowledged the rule in the comments, but claimed she had been allowed to wear the shirt because, in her words, “they liked me”.
She also caught the City squad arriving at the stadium, where she managed to high-five several players, including England internationals Elliot Anderson and Nico O’Reilly.

White was filmed chatting with Manchester City’s mascot before making a playful gesture suggesting he should call her. It was the kind of afternoon where the football was almost beside the point.
